A global technology company is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner based in Milan, Italy. This hybrid role requires an experienced HR leader with over 7 years of experience in large, matrixed organizations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Italian labor laws and managing employment relations, including union negotiations. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and be fluent in both Italian and English, supporting the country leader in shaping HR strategy and operational effectiveness. This 6-month renewable contract promises a pivotal role in influencing country operations.

💼 We’re Hiring : Senior HR Business Partner (Italy)

Location: Milan, Italy | Hybrid (1–2 days on-site)

Contract: 6 months — renewable

Industry: Global Technology / Corporate HR

Requirement: Must be an Italian citizen and fluent in Italian

If you’re an experienced HR leader with strong labor law knowledge, union handling expertise, and the ability to influence at senior levels, this is a high-impact role supporting a global organization’s people strategy in Italy.

You’ll act as the trusted HR partner for the Country Leader and Leadership Team, advising on organizational design, employment relations, policy interpretation, compliance, and change management.

🧩 What You’ll Do

• Ensure full compliance with all Italian legislative and labor requirements.
• Drive and implement organizational changes with procedural accuracy and alignment.
• Manage employment relations issues and partner closely with local unions / union reps.
• Collaborate with the Employment Legal team to assess and mitigate HR risks.
• Serve as custodian of in-country HR policies and procedures.
• Partner with HR Business Partners, COEs, and HR operations teams to deliver the Italy HR plan.
• Support country leadership on HR strategy, organizational development, and employee relations.
• Ensure all teams operate in line with the company’s culture and code of conduct.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field.
• Fluency in Italian & English (mandatory).
