About the Business

About the Role

As Hotel Procurement Manager – North Italy, you will manage a section of Kuoni Tumlare’s contracted hotel portfolio. You will develop and implement procurement strategies (Tier 1 & 2), translating them into medium- and long-term plans in collaboration with the Head of Hotel Procurement.

This role requires cross-functional collaboration and strong supplier relationship management to ensure delivery of competitive and customer-suitable products across varying demand cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Head of Procurement
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Reservation, Accounting, MICE, Sales, Operations)
• Regional Portfolio Management
• Ensure sales expectations are met with a competitive product portfolio and inventory
• Facilitate exclusive agreements with key suppliers and hotel chains
• Manage internal communication flows across teams
• Handle escalated reservation and accounting matters

KPIs & Reporting

• Define and monitor KPIs in collaboration with the Head of Procurement
• Identify and mitigate business risks proactively
• Participate in destination reviews and act as the regional sales contact
• Lead regional calls with key sales offices
• Manage quotations and negotiations for the region

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a senior management role in hotel contracting, business development, account or revenue management (preferably in hospitality or travel)
• In-depth knowledge of the North Italy region with a strong network of hotel contacts
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills (Italian and English, business level)
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
• University degree or equivalent in a related field
• Proven ability to:
