We are seeking a Ground Station Engineer to be involved in major projects in the space sector.

Description

Background:

• University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering

Skills

• Experience designing and building RF communication systems;
• Competence in IP networking concepts;
• Working knowledge of Linux operating system;
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems;
• Integration and test of hardware systems;
• Experience with RF, electrical, and networking test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.);
• Field support;
• Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory;
• High motivation, proactive working approach and strong sense of responsibility.

Tasks

• Assimilate the Ground Station documentation about design, procurement, production, integration and installation;
• Participation in Ground Station acceptance phase;
• Participation in Remote Ground Station acceptance phase;
• Understanding of the Ground Station design (including software);
• Understanding of the Remote Ground Station service;
• Support to the GS AIV team for the GS Integration activities.
