The successful candidate will generate grid connections and ensure compliance with project milestones. Candidates should have experience in large-scale solar projects and strong negotiation skills. Overview

Grid Connection Engineer – Growing IPP working across Europe. Lombardy - hybrid model, 3 days in the office. €50,000 and benefits.

The Company

We're working with a leading IPP driving energy projects across 4 countries in Europe. With more than a decade of market presence, the success of their projects continue as they are entering a new stage of growth, making this the perfect time to join this exciting company.

With over 260 renewable energy projects launched in the past six years and more than 400 plants in operation or under construction at a capacity of 100 MW. They're now expanding their Italian team and looking for a dynamic Grid Connection Engineer.

They now work across Italy, France, Greece and Sweden, with substantial pipelines over each stage of the project lifecycle. Their pipeline is mainly solar, however they are progressing into BESS projects and hybrid sites. This pipeline covers early stage developments, construction, financing and operation and maintenance stages.

The Role

This is a brand new role for the group at the heart of their Italian development function. The main purpose of this role is to work on projects at late grid connection stages.

Responsibilities

• Generating grid connections with TERNA & ENEL.
• Ensuring they are grid compliant and meet milestones to ensure project success.
• Supporting projects through late stage developments and permitting stages and through grid connection stages, into project handover.

What we need from you

• A background in construction, grid connection work & grid code compliance knowledge. Permitting knowledge and late stage development work.
• Working with large scale solar projects.
