Overview

Join to apply for the Full-Stack Software Engineer (Angular and Java) role at WorkFlex . WorkFlex is a B2B SaaS platform enabling employers to let employees work from anywhere with compliance. You will report to the Head of Engineering and be among the first on the team as we scale to 500+ clients, including Scout24, Biontech, Vodafone, Flix, and others.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, operate, and own the workation and business travel platform with the team.
• Set up the technical cloud infrastructure and decide on frameworks and technologies with the team.
• Develop software in an agile way using Spring Boot and Java for the backend.
• Build frontends and UIs with TypeScript and Angular in collaboration with product managers.
• Work on novel topics and state-of-the-art technologies in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for technology and coding.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Java for backend; Angular and TypeScript for frontend; comfortable with full-stack work.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with automated build / deploy, Git, and container solutions like Docker.
• Interest in or experience with DevOps topics: continuous quality control, alerting, monitoring, logging, and SIEM.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team, with a strong sense of ownership and results focus.
• Fluent in English.
