Overview

Randstad Italia Spa, Florence branch, is looking for a Finance Specialist - Project Control for a major multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

We offer an initial 12 month temporary contract with the possibility of direct placement in the company. CCNL Metalworking Industry, level B2-B1, commensurate with the candidate's experience, plus meal vouchers. Possibility of smart working.

Retribuzione annua : 34000€ - 40000€

Experience required: 2 years

Responsibilities

• The E&P Project Controller is a key member of the Equipment & Projects Finance team, partnering closely with the Project Management organization.
• Leverage data and analysis to drive decision making with a continuous focus on simplification of processes and precision while ensuring controllership governance.
• Partner with Project Managers to provide governance and control on project costs.
• Lead Project Margin Reviews to define the project margin for the purpose of revenue recognition.
• Assess exposures, risks and opportunities to the cost estimates and requirements for specific reserves.
• Perform detailed variance analysis versus budgets and benchmarks to identify productivity opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic digitization & simplification projects as a team leader or member (e.g. systems implementation, cross functional processes, RPA).
• Conduct other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• To be successful in this role you will have a Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
• Relevant working experience, preferably in the finance team of a multinational company.
• Experience with Financial systems (Oracle, OBEII).
• Be fluent in English.
