Job Description

YCOM is looking for a new team member to join the FEA – Composite Structural Analysis team. The selected candidate will report to the Technical Manager and will perform structural calculations on composite components such as chassis, wings, crash boxes, as well as on mechanical components and subsystems for some of the most prestigious automotive and motorsport OEMs. They will interact closely with the design teams within the Technical Department.

The position is based in Stradella di Collecchio (PR), Italy. An employment contract commensurate with the candidate’s experience will be offered.

Responsibilities

The candidate will carry out simulation model preparation, results analysis, and report writing. They will also participate in the early pre-study phase and collaborate with colleagues in the Technical Department to ensure proper design and continuous data and input exchange.

Analyses and tasks will be carried out using the software Beta CAE (ANSA and Meta) and Abaqus.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Participation in Formula SAE, in the Simulation / FEA area (nice to have)
• Previous experience in the same role / field
