As a Civil Engineering Expert, you will be part of EniProgetti. Specifically, you will be part of the Civil & Architectural team, where you will be responsible for identifying and adopting the correct civil engineering/onshore steel structures/construction standards based on company procedures, local regulations, and legislation (particularly regarding safety, pollution, HSEQ, etc.) throughout all project phases, from feasibility analyses to testing and production start-up.

Main activities

• Verification of the technical integrity of civil engineering design and onshore steel structure engineering design
• Accurate cost and time estimation for civil works and steel structures
• Application of HSEQ standards, procedures and best practices to the design of onshore civil engineering works and steel structures, to the construction plan
• Structural and geotechnical calculations: static and dynamic foundations of equipment, steel and concrete structures, seismic vulnerability analysis
• Preparation of technical and contractual specifications for the design of onshore civil works and steel structures, infrastructure, civil works
• Review and approval of contractor's civil engineering documentation
• Design review (construction and installation design; construction site)
• Review of civil works, onshore steel structures and construction quantities
• Review and evaluation of bids for civil and construction works
• Support the construction manager in planning and monitoring project execution (timelines, costs, and compliance of the work with project specifications)
• Providing technical support to civil works contractors
• Preparation of calculation reports for onshore steel structures, concrete structures and foundations.

Required characteristics

• A degree in Civil Engineering is preferred. Other qualifications, including lower levels, may be considered based on significant experience in the role.
• At least 3 years' experience in similar roles
• Good knowledge of: civil and structural design, systems, HSE (health, safety and environment) principles and systems and construction works (civil building works)
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Availability for mobility
