We are looking for a committed electrical engineer to be based on-site across Italy. Join our dynamic Construction team who at this moment have over 100 megawatts (MW) of third-party projects actively under construction, including Agri-PV, utility scale PV, Revamping, and Repowering projects. Responsibilities
  • On-site supervision of electrical construction works on solar PV, EPC projects in Italy, including full responsibility for technical, environmental and safety compliance, quality, schedule, and integration control.
  • Report to the Construction Manager and the Construction Team Leader; work with Project Purchasing & Logistics, System Design, Specialists, Consultants, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and the Client to ensure compliant project execution.
  • Define project/trade purpose and scope; calculate resources; establish standards and protocols; allocate resources; schedule and coordinate subcontractors and staff; evaluate milestones and change orders via the Construction Manager.
  • Inspect, supervise, and report on construction activities in conformance with drawings, specifications, schedules, procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards; comply with company procedures, legislation, standards, and industry best practice.
  • Manage supplier and subcontractor construction & commissioning; implement KPIs, monitor schedule and quality against baselines; raise NCRs and implement corrective action via the Construction Manager.
  • Ensure full compliance with QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes, and requirements in Italy.
  • Ensure contractual trade schedule and payment milestones are achieved; prepare and compile documentation.
  • Prepare daily construction reports and records; review work procedures, QCPs, and ITPs.
  • Support Logistics team with material distribution on site and incoming goods inspections.
  • Implement and process Lock Out Tag Out Procedures.
  • Execute and/or supervise all required test and commissioning activities on SCADA and Instrumentation equipment in compliance with the approved Commissioning Plan.
Your energy is required
  • Electrical Engineering background.
  • Minimum of 5 years construction supervision experience in electrical infrastructure projects; 2 years utility-scale solar PV plants experience.
  • Experience in Italian EPC Solar Projects.
  • Versatility to support other disciplines (Mechanical and Civil).
  • General experience to manage small-scale EPC solar projects (10 MW and less).
  • Good communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Proven track record of completing construction on time, safely, and in compliance with technical and quality standards.
  • Experience managing Subcontractors to stringent time and quality metrics.
  • Familiar with construction management tools and MS Office; knowledge of construction, labour, environmental and safety requirements and legislation.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
