About the Role

The Credit Collector will help Safilo collect outstanding credits by contacting debtors and negotiating payment solutions. The position is based in our HQ in Padua.

Responsibilities

• Track outstanding debts, locate and contact debtors.
• Create and implement debt‑collection courses of action, negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans.
• Handle customers’ questions or complaints.
• Update account status and balances regularly.
• Comply with legal requirements in cooperation with Portuguese local colleagues.

Qualifications

• Fluent or native speaker in Portuguese.
• Fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
• Experience working with tight deadlines.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong negotiation skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Excellent time‑management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• At least 2 years of experience as a credit collector (ideally).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics.
