Overview

For the Central Team of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C), we are looking for a Capital Solutions Specialist to join our Parametric Products and Solutions team. You will deliver innovative ILS and alternative capital solutions by effectively coordinating with reinsurance brokers and clients, ensuring seamless transaction execution and communication. In this role, you will involve managing multiple projects with precision, supporting new product development, and enhancing client value creation. You will leverage extensive ILS experience and strong analytical skills to drive successful outcomes and foster long-term relationships within the (re)insurance and capital markets industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ILS & Capital Solutions
• Coordinate closely with reinsurance brokers in a multi-year and multiproduct sales process
• Work with brokers to understand how and when ILS solutions and alternative capital create value for clients and prospects
• Deliver ILS and alternative capital solutions to clients and prospects
• Analyze and develop solutions according to clients\' capital needs and develop tailored financial solutions to optimize their capital structure
• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with capital solutions
• Ensure all solutions comply with relevant regulations
• Work closely with underwriters, actuaries, etc. to design and implement capital solutions
• Keep updated on market trends and regulatory changes to provide the most current and relevant advice
• Communication and Interaction
  • Communicate and interact effectively with brokers, clients, and deal team members
  • Prepare and edit presentations and other materials for clients & top management
  • Drive transaction execution and manage communication with clients and brokers during execution
• Project Management
  • Manage several projects simultaneously with careful attention to detail
  • Help supervise, recruit, train, and retain less experienced staff members
• Analysis and Reporting
  • Analyze reinsurance and capital structures both on a quantitative and qualitative basis
  • Prepare and edit written content for publications as part of the sales process
  • Coordinate closely with ILS sales and trading
• Product Development
  • Support new profitable product development to enhance client value creation
