Overview
The Solution Engineer (Presales Engineer) will be responsible for building relationships with service providers, government agencies, large enterprise customers, strategic technology partners, and resellers to recommend the most appropriate solution and provide support during deployment. The successful candidate will be a skilled technical expert, able to assist the team to identify and qualify business leaders as well as customers for Proof of Concepts (PoC), product demonstrations, technical presentations and systems architecture configuration, RFPs and RFQs and provide support during deployment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to understand client requirements and grow the business
- Provide Technical Sales support for Keysight 4G/5G Core Network Validation Solution and Network Visibility solutions.
- Performs in-depth and technical presentations for customers, partners, and events.
- Prepare and deliver business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conducting Proof-of-Concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary
- Provides mentorship/guidance on technology and competitive trends to clients, partners, and employees.
- Analyzes customer requirements and recommends appropriate solution
- Responsible for demos and for enhancing customers’ experience and satisfaction.
- Acts as the customer voice to influence future product roadmap that meets customer needs.
- Leading communication between Sales and Product business and support teams on driving technical issues.
- Travel as required (domestic and international) to meet clients, support demonstrations, and attend marketing/industry events.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical area (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity); or equivalent work experience.
- Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
- 5-10 years’ experience as Pre-Sales Engineer in Telecom, Wireless (4G/5G), Data Networking and Cybersecurity
- Knowledge of 4G/5G RAN O-RAN and AI-RAN concepts
- Strong knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, Network Applications, QOS, MPLS and Networking.
- Strong knowledge in Application, Performance, Network or Cybersecurity Monitoring
- Hands on experience on cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure Private Stack, OpenStack, VMware NSX
- Must have knowledge and solid understanding of applications, including the OSI model as well as common protocols and applications used by service providers and Enterprise organizations
- Knowledge of network and security testing such as protocol analyzers, traffic generators, benchmarking systems, red teaming and security validation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Willing to work on contractual basis
