Job description
Overview

Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with Horizon Education’s branding and enrollment goals.

Manage content calendars and ensure consistency across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.).

Set and track KPIs (followers, engagement rate, reach, shares, etc.) and optimize content strategy accordingly.

Content Planning & Briefing

Lead content planning in collaboration with the content creative team.

Create clear content and design briefs that are visually and thematically aligned with campaign objectives and audience behavior.

Ensure content highlights real stories, achievements, and milestones of students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

Community Marketing & Engagement

Build and nurture digital communities of students, alumni, prospective enrollees, and staff.

Develop strategies to encourage user-generated content and peer-to-peer sharing.

Organize interactive activities (e.g., takeovers, challenges, Q&A, testimonials) to drive authentic engagement.

Brand Voice & Manifesto Alignment

Ensure all social media communication reflects Horizon Education’s values and brand manifesto.

Champion the Horizon brand voice across all owned social media platforms.

Guide tone and storytelling direction for each campus or school under Horizon Education.

Act as the main liaison for the Social Media function across HorizonU campuses and KalbisU.

Work closely with each School’s Marketing Head to localize strategies and support their specific campaigns and priorities.

Share best practices, tools, and content playbooks with school-based marketing teams.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation

Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and education-related topics.

Identify opportunities to increase virality, growth hacking, and new storytelling formats (e.g., Reels, TikTok trends, carousels).

Benchmark against local and international education institutions and influencers.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
  • 2-3 years in social media management, content strategy, or community marketing
  • Good Understanding on Social media platforms (IG, TikTok, YT, LinkedIn, X, FB), community engagement, content storytelling, campaign ideation, KOL managements
  • Master Social media analytics, scheduling tools, copywriting, creative briefing, community building
  • Has Creativity, adaptability, storytelling, youth engagement, collaboration with creative teams
  • Strong communicator, community builder, able to build campaign stories, inspire and engage students, alumni, parents
  • Have passion in Education, youth empowerment, community building, social media growth and trend
