About Our Client

Our client is a multinational client with export orientation. Upon the completion of their factory in Indonesia, they now have the capability to export to various countries in Asia.

Job Description

  • Ensure an on time completion of loading & discharge documents to ensure a smooth shipping operations.
  • Analyze the commercial reports related to shipping, which includes port charges, anchorage, maintenance, dry docking etc.
  • Review shipping contracts, which includes charter agreement and operational agreement
  • Lead the negotiation with the vendors to ensure the most optimal cost is acquired for the operations.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that the vessel are in the optimum condition based on the industry requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Maritime Transportation Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the shipping industry, with focus in flammable goods.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills to manage vendors.
  • Familiarity with supplier evaluation and contract management processes.
  • An ability to adapt to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
