Senior Integration / Automation Developer

Purpose of the Role The Senior Integration / Automation Developer at Hubexo plays a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust integrations and automations across the company’s core business systems — including HubSpot, NetSuite, Chargebee, DealHub, and related applications. This hands‑on role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and efficient integration solutions that enable seamless data flow between systems. The developer will contribute to both the design and delivery of integrations, working in close collaboration with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and business stakeholders within the Business Systems Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy integrations between HubSpot, NetSuite, Chargebee, DealHub, and other core business systems.
• Utilize Make as the primary automation and integration platform, alongside APIs and custom scripts.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and business teams to understand integration needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure integrations meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.
• Maintain and document data mappings, workflows, and dependencies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration workflows, resolving incidents proactively.
• Support versioning, change management, and deployment processes.
• Recommend improvements and automation opportunities to streamline business operations.
• Work collaboratively within a small, agile team of developers and architects under the Business Systems Program.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in system integration, automation, or software development.
• Proven hands‑on experience designing and building integrations using Make, APIs, and modern integration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST/JSON, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API keys), and data mapping.
• Experience integrating SaaS platforms such as HubSpot, NetSuite, Chargebee, and DealHub.
• Solid knowledge of API design, data transformation, and workflow automation.
• Ability to document, maintain, and optimize complex integration environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in cross‑functional environments.
• Certifications in Make or related integration tools preferred (not required).
