A leading fragrance manufacturing company in Tangerang, Indonesia, is seeking a PPIC professional to oversee production planning and inventory control. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments to ensure the effectiveness of production schedules and managing materials. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree and have 2–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Plan production and trial schedules in coordination with related departments based on incoming orders (Production Order Schedule Plan).
Monitor production progress and results in accordance with the approved schedule.
Analyze and control requirements of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and packaging materials based on production plans and safety stock.
Control the availability of ready-to-use materials.
Review and set production priorities in line with customer demand.
Coordinate with Sales & Marketing and Production teams to resolve customer priority issues.
Coordinate with Production to resolve production issues such as output gaps, schedule delays, material arrival delays, and machine/utility constraints.
Confirm delivery schedules to Sales & Marketing Assistant Manager based on received orders and monitor delivery realization.
Review Sales Orders and forecasts against inventory levels, production plans, machine capacity, and prepare delivery plans.
Prepare and analyze monthly material consumption reports.
Request approval from Factory Manager for stock discrepancies during stock opname, including root cause analysis and corrective & preventive actions.
Perform order closing after completion and minimize open Production Orders before month-end.
Prepare Change Control Requests for changes in product specifications, standard packing, formulations, and related items.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in PPIC, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG.
Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and material management.
Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis.
Good coordination, communication, and problem solving skills.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
