The Position

As Portfolio & Patient Value Strategy Chapter Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping how Roche Indonesia brings innovative medicines to patients—by defining portfolio priorities, access strategies, and long‑term value creation across the healthcare ecosystem.

This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the country General Manager, with accountability for both strategic direction and people leadership. You will influence decisions at the highest level while enabling teams to translate strategy into meaningful impact for patients and healthcare partners.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for setting and driving Roche Indonesia’s portfolio and patient value strategy, ensuring alignment between business priorities, healthcare system realities, and patient needs.

You will:

  • Define and lead portfolio strategy across Roche’s current and future pipeline, translating market, policy, and healthcare trends into clear strategic priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Shape access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies, working closely with national payers, hospital networks, and key stakeholders to maximize patient access to Roche medicines.
  • Guide brand and portfolio planning, ensuring that disease strategies, lifecycle planning, and investments are aligned with long‑term business and patient impact objectives.
  • Strengthen engagement with healthcare leaders, including national and regional key opinion leaders, to build credibility, advocacy, and shared solutions that improve patient outcomes.
  • Oversee hospital formulary and reimbursement dynamics, including national insurance listings, tender readiness, and resolution of access barriers at account level.
  • Embed customer‑centric and insight‑driven decision making, using data and field insights to inform strategy, improve execution, and continuously refine approaches.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team, creating an environment of trust, accountability, and continuous learning, while building future leaders for Roche Indonesia.
  • Collaborate across functions and regions, ensuring alignment with global and regional strategies while adapting them to Indonesia’s unique healthcare landscape.
  • Ensure strong governance and compliance, operating in line with Roche values, ethical standards, and Indonesian pharmaceutical regulations.

Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years of senior leadership experience in marketing, portfolio strategy, market access, or commercial leadership within multinational pharmaceutical organizations.
  • A university degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related life sciences field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience in portfolio planning, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian healthcare ecosystem, including reimbursement mechanisms, national insurance, hospital formularies, and regulatory frameworks.
  • The ability to translate complex healthcare, policy, and market dynamics into clear strategic direction.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at senior internal and external levels.
  • Proven capability to lead, coach, and develop teams, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and patient focus.
