Arup is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Planner to lead and deliver integrated infrastructure planning projects across Indonesia and the broader ASEAN/APAC region. The successful candidate will contribute to strategic urban frameworks and masterplans, supporting climate resilience and infrastructure policy development.

The Opportunity

• Deliver planning solutions across water, wastewater, drainage, energy, and ICT, aligned with city-scale strategies.
• Contribute to urban development frameworks by integrating infrastructure with land use, housing, transport, and environmental systems.
• Develop and review masterplans at neighbourhood and block levels, and provide policy and technical input for infrastructure decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables while supporting climate resilience and sustainability initiatives.

Is this role right for you?

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or urban planning; postgraduate studies preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure planning and consulting, with familiarity in Indonesian codes and practices.
• Proficiency in GIS and CAD software, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
