Job description

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Lead Product Manager to oversee the development and growth of our credit product portfolio. In this role, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of credit-related products, ensuring they meet market demands and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data, risk, and marketing to drive the product vision, create innovative solutions, and enhance customer experiences in the credit space. Your expertise in credit products, combined with your leadership abilities, will be crucial in delivering products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and lead the product strategy and roadmap for credit products, including credit cards, loans, lines of credit, and other financial services. Ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Market Research & Trends: Stay on top of industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitor offerings in the credit space. Conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and analyze data to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, risk, finance, compliance, marketing, and operations teams to drive product development and delivery. Lead product planning sessions and coordinate across teams to ensure timely product launches.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Work closely with risk, legal, and compliance teams to ensure that all credit products adhere to regulatory requirements, including credit risk policies, underwriting guidelines, and financial regulations.
  • Customer Experience & Journey: Lead efforts to improve the overall customer experience in the credit product lifecycle, from onboarding to repayment. Partner with UX/UI teams to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences for customers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze product performance and customer feedback using key performance indicators (KPIs), and take actionable steps to optimize product features, pricing, and positioning.
  • Mentoring & Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and expertise on best practices in product management and credit products.
  • Innovation & Scaling: Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and product differentiation in the credit space. Scale existing products and develop new ones that cater to evolving market needs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate product vision, priorities, and progress to senior leadership, and collaborate with external partners, vendors, and financial institutions as necessary.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years focused on credit products (loans, buy now pay later, etc.) or related financial services.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading and mentoring product teams, with a demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Credit Expertise: Deep understanding of the credit lifecycle, including underwriting, portfolio management, credit risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven decision-making skills. Ability to interpret financial metrics, user analytics, and market data to inform product decisions.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with modern software development practices (Agile, Scrum) and experience working closely with engineering teams on complex financial technology solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a history of successfully working with cross-functional teams, senior executives, and external partners.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for creating customer-first products and delivering seamless, user-friendly credit experiences.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and influence key stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Design, or other fields from top local or overseas universities with strong academic results, MBA is a plus.
