Overview

• Support IT project delivery as a technical engineer, including delivering solutions, delivery plans, site surveys, hardware installation, commissioning, acceptance, and related activities to meet customer requirements for functionality, performance, security, and high availability.
• Support pre-sales of Data Center IT Infrastructure System integration and service.
• Communicate with customers and subcontractors, enhance customer satisfaction, manage subcontractors to complete tasks, and provide related training.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in DC/IT infrastructure technical support and administrative roles.
• Experience in Storage/Network/Server/Linux OS or cloud/virtualization solution projects as a technical role.
• TCP/IP and SAN network: familiar with L2 and L3 devices, trunk and stack configurations, OSPF; FC switches, FC/IP SAN, NAS, etc.
• Cloud Computing/virtualization: deep understanding private cloud services and business models, such as hosting, co-location, cloud storage, cloud host and other IDC services; involved in three or more cloud computing project bid and implementation.
• Backup and DR: familiar with backup and data protection software such as NetBackup or Simpana and data replication of host/storage/application such as SAN Mirror.
• Data migration: familiar with data migration solutions such as P2P, P2V, V2V and also application level migration.
• Willing to work on a contractual basis with onsite working arrangement.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware solutions and vmotion knowledge; databases and IT basic applications including SOA, SharePoint, Exchange, OA, Web, FTP, SMTP.
• Security: familiar with security products such as firewall, VPN, anti-virus, IDS/IPS, PKI and international security standards; responsible for design and implementation of network and information security solutions.
