Job description

Overview

Manage, monitor, and analyze the company’s inventory of goods/materials to ensure availability aligns with operational needs with a high level of accuracy. This position plays a critical role in supporting smooth procurement and distribution processes through effective stock planning, creation of purchase requests, and efficient inventory control in line with the budget.

Responsibilities

• Set and update safety stock, lead time, and order frequency for each SKU monthly.
• Create monthly stock purchase forecasts and submit purchase requests (both planned and urgent).
• Request stock transfers between warehouses.
• Create item codes and descriptions in SAP.
• Analyze DOI, ROL, and stock movement (fast, medium, slow, and dead stock) every month.
• Provide recommendations to ensure the FIFO system is implemented properly.
• Prepare annual Inventory activity plans, manage the team’s budget, and KPI.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Recommend strategies to reduce overstock and prevent out-of-stock conditions.
• Conduct stock opname (stock‑taking) to ensure accuracy between physical and system data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) or Master’s degree (S2) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Inventory Management, or 3 years of experience as an Inventory Manager.
• Strong proficiency in SAP (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of inventory control, stock planning, and warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
