Qualifications

Job description

This is a foundational leadership role, responsible for building the eCommerce organization from the ground up and scaling the entire online sales business. The position plays a critical role in establishing a D2C‑led growth model, integrated with Marketplaces, Social Commerce, and Omni‑channel.

The role owns monthly and annual business planning (revenue, pricing, promotions, product assortment) and is fully accountable for online revenue growth and P&L performance at the country level.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Business Ownership
  • Define and execute the national eCommerce strategy, with D2C as the core growth engine.
  • Own end‑to‑end online P&L, revenue targets, and overall commercial performance.
  • Lead pricing, promotion, and product assortment strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Drive sustainable growth across D2C, marketplaces, and social commerce.
  • Design and develop the omni‑channel (O2O) model tailored to the local market.
  • Act as the primary strategic interface with HQ and key platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok).
2. Organization Building, Operations & Scale Execution
  • Build the eCommerce organization from scratch, including structure design, role definition, hiring roadmap, and KPIs.
  • Design incentive schemes and performance frameworks to support scale and growth.
  • Establish and standardize SOPs for order management, logistics, returns, and customer service.
  • Oversee marketplace operations, campaign execution, and mega sale participation.
  • Partner with Marketing teams to optimize demand generation, funnels, and conversion performance.
  • Develop livestream, affiliate, and KOL/KOC commerce as scalable growth channels.
  • Lead forecasting, performance tracking, and executive‑level reporting.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience building and scaling a D2C business from the ground up is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of eCommerce / Online Sales experience.
  • At least 2–3 years in a Head / Director / Senior Leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams, systems, and processes from zero to scale.
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics / Home Appliances is a strong advantage.
