About the role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and welcoming Greeter to join our vibrant restaurant team at ISMAYA GROUP. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive. This role is based in Jakarta.

What you'll be doing
  • Warmly greet and welcome all guests to the restaurant, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable
  • Efficiently manage the seating of guests and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and attentive customer service
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu, specials and policies to assist customers as needed
  • Monitor and manage the flow of traffic at the front of house, ensuring smooth operations
  • Assist with other front-of-house duties as required, such as answering phone enquiries and handling reservations
  • Contribute to creating a positive, customer-focused atmosphere in the restaurant
What we're looking for
  • Proven experience as a Greeter or in a similar customer-facing role, ideally within the hospitality or restaurant industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers of all backgrounds
  • A friendly, outgoing and professional demeanour, with a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle various front-of-house responsibilities simultaneously
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and policies, including reservations, seating and customer relations
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
