As a Government Relations specialist at Stanford Teknologi Indonesia, you will play a pivotal role in navigating the complex regulatory landscape and fostering strategic partnerships with key government stakeholders. This full‑time position, based in Central Jakarta, is essential in driving the company's growth and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations within the Government & Defence industry.

What you'll be doing

• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and policymakers to proactively identify and address key issues impacting the company.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Developing and executing strategic plans to influence government decision‑making and shape policies that affect the company's operations.
• Representing the company's interests in industry forums, government consultations, and legislative processes.
• Monitoring and analysing changes in the regulatory environment, and proactively proposing solutions to mitigate risks and capitalize on new opportunities.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure the company's compliance with all applicable government regulations and reporting requirements.
• Contributing to the development of the company's overall policy and advocacy strategies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, or a similar role, preferably within the Policy, Planning & Regulation sub‑industry.
• Experience building strong relationships with regulators (OJK), AFPI, and the fintech community.
• Extensive knowledge of government policies, regulations, and decision‑making processes, with a proven track record of successfully navigating complex bureaucratic environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key decision‑makers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the capacity to identify and address emerging regulatory challenges.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
