General Manager CCIS Depot, Indonesia

CCIS (CMA CGM Inland Services) is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to the development of land transport solutions. It offers complete and integrated logistics solutions with high added value, adapted to the specific needs of its customers throughout their supply chain: storage, picking, kitting, processing of packaged goods, post-manufacturing and loading and unloading.

General Manager – CCIS Depot Subsidiary

Mission

The CCIS Depot Subsidiary operates as a strategic inland container depot, serving as a storage facility for empty containers and a hub for reefer servicing, pre-trip inspections, container repairs, and container sales.

CCIS is the world\'s largest provider of inland container solutions, with an extensive network in 30 countries.

The General Manager holds full accountability for the depot’s operations, overseeing all on-site activities and leading the team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Preparing and presenting the depot’s budget, monthly P&L statements, and KPI reports to senior management.
  2. Organizing team workflows and monitoring productivity to ensure operational efficiency.
  3. Implementing and maintaining compliance with safety protocols, risk assessments, and corrective actions through a comprehensive HSE action plan.
  4. Develop, present and lead cost savings initiatives
  5. Defining and implementing growth and diversification strategies.
  6. Managing and reporting on operational and financial performance.
  7. Establishing and executing the annual budget in alignment with head office guidelines.
  8. Leading continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
  9. Driving a targeted sales strategy to increase volumes with both CMA CGM and third-party customers.
  10. Participating in monthly performance reviews with CCIS Head Office teams, covering operational, financial, and cross-functional aspects.
  11. Overseeing human resource management for approximately 85 employees, including recruitment, training, and development, in collaboration with the HR department.
  12. Managing administrative requirements of the depot.
  13. Contributing to cross-functional projects (e.g., IT systems, procurement synergies, QHSSE, and best practice sharing).
  14. Ensuring compliance with CMA CGM Group procedures in coordination with relevant departments (Purchasing, Legal & Compliance, QHSSE, etc.).
  15. Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships, particularly with port authorities and employee unions.

Requirements

  1. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Logistics, with strong knowledge in finance, accounting, operations, sales, marketing, and HR fundamentals.
  2. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the maritime, forwarding, or logistics industry.
  3. Practical knowledge of depot operations, logistics platforms, and transportation modes (trucking, barging, rail) at both operational and head office levels.
  4. Professional fluency in English.
