An EV Battery Manufacturing Company is seeking a Finance Controller to oversee financial planning, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in financial management and hold a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. Responsibilities

About the job Finance Controller (EV Battery Company)

On behalf of our clients, an EV Battery Manufacturingcompany that is currently looking to hire a Financial Controller position. This position will be responsible to To establish and maintain financial controls, provide strategic financial guidance, and ensure regulatory compliance, contributing to companys mission by fostering financial stability, informed decision-making, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Financial Reporting: Review and ensure that monthly management accounts with all its schedule are accurate and completed in a timely manner. And prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize cash utilization to support operational needs.
  • Tax Compliance and Risk Management
  • Building relationship with banks and MFIs: Business Partnering with management team: Work with finance business partner to get a high level overview and understanding on the projects undertaken by the company to ensure proper accounting and tax treatments.

Qualifications:

  • Have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or related roles
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
