Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a distinguished medical diagnostic company in Indonesia, recognised for its expertise in medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise all equipment installation activities, ensuring timeliness, quality, and workplace safety.
- Establish and evaluate installation standards and procedures in line with company policies.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate preventive and annual maintenance schedules to meet standards and SLA requirements.
- Analyze maintenance outcomes to enhance efficiency and equipment reliability.
- Oversee onsite and workshop repair activities, set work priorities, approve technical actions and critical spare part usage, and ensure repair timelines meet SLA targets.
- Ensure the application of QC procedures for both new and refurbished equipment.
- Review QC results and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken on quality findings.
- Compile weekly and monthly reports from supervisors, analyze equipment performance and team effectiveness, and prepare departmental performance reports for submission to management.
- Monitor the availability, distribution, and utilization of spare parts.
- Approve procurement of critical components, control costs, and coordinate with logistics/procurement to maintain stock efficiency.
- Design and implement refresh training programs to strengthen the technical competencies of the team.
- Ensure work standards, technical certifications, and personnel development requirements are fulfilled.
- Lead, guide, and evaluate the performance of Supervisors and Field Service Engineers. Set individual and team KPIs, manage technical escalations, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
- Formulate strategies to improve after-sales service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Handle key client concerns, conduct service evaluations, and coordinate with cross-functional management teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Electromedical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related science/engineering fields. A master’s degree is an advantage, particularly in electromedical engineering, instrumentation, or technical management.
- 7–8 years of experience in technical services, product applications, or after-sales support for industrial/medical equipment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proficiency in the principles of operation, installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment.
- Strong understanding of troubleshooting systems, QC, training, and service support.
- Ability to analyse technical performance and service data (e.g., uptime, FCR, customer feedback).
- Skilled in evaluating spare part utilisation and optimising technical team operations.
