Job summary

A hospitality company in Indonesia is seeking an Executive Head Chef to oversee all kitchen operations. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring quality food presentation, and creating menus. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role at a 4 or 5-star hotel, or 5 years in renowned restaurants. A broad knowledge of diverse cuisines, as well as budget management skills, is essential. Offshore experience is preferred. This position offers a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Controling the entire kitchen operation to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate and supervise all food preparation to meet restaurant standards.
  • Create and design menus, and develop new recipes and dishes.
  • Ensure high-quality food presentation and consistent taste.
  • Create and manage the kitchen budget, control costs, and minimize waste.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients, equipment, and supplies.
  • Order new supplies and establish relationships with vendors.
  • Ensure all health and sanitation regulations are followed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Develop training programs to ensure consistency and safety.
Qualifications
  • S1 OR D3 Hospitality management / Tata Boga
  • Minimum 2 Years experiences in similar Roles and duties at 4 or 5 Stars Hotel
  • Otherwise 5 Years experiences in similar roles and duties at well known brand restaurant.
  • Wide range of Food Knowledge and recipes ( Indonesian, Meditteranian, Western, Chinese )
  • Wide range reference of kitchen supplier and vendor.
  • Offshore experiences Preferably.
  • Knowledge about dietary and allergies.
  • Punctual to work underpressure and target oriented.
