Deputy Supervisor – Market & Trade Lane Department

We are seeking a Deputy Supervisor for the Market & Trade Lane Department to support market analysis, trade lane development, and carrier relationship management. The role involves collecting market and competitor data, maintaining freight rate updates, coordinating with carriers and co-loaders, and assisting the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth business processes. The ideal candidate has strong market awareness, solid experience in freight forwarding or trade lane roles, and established relationships within the industry—especially in Southeast Asia or US trade lanes. Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collect and organize competitor market information and key trade lane shipping data; maintain strong market awareness and update freight rates promptly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and co-loader partners, and provide direction to the sales team as needed.
  • Handle filing, documentation, coordination, and contract signing with booking agents and shipping lines.
  • Work closely with the operations team to support and maintain company clients, and proactively participate in solving issues.
  • Coordinate and communicate with related departments on matters connected to daily responsibilities.
  • Candidates with Southeast Asia or US trade lane resources are highly preferred.
Qualifications
  • Diploma degree or above.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding customer service, commercial, or trade lane roles.
  • Strong market sensitivity and extensive experience in market development; candidates with strong carrier relationships are preferred.
  • Strong execution, fast learner, proactive, responsible, and able to follow company leadership’s directions.
  • Must be able to communicate in Mandarin (spoken and written).
