Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Central Jakarta is seeking a Cost Accountant to lead product costing and variance analysis. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Key responsibilities include monitoring cost drivers, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and preparing costing reports. Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills are essential. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in cost accounting from manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of product costing, variance analysis, and inventory control.
  • Hands on experience with SAP Material Ledger (Actual Costing); familiar with MM/PP/FI-CO flow.

  • Lead end-to-end product costing: standard cost, actual cost, cost roll-up, variance analysis.
  • Review accuracy of BOM, routing, and production master data.
  • Monitor PUP (Periodic Unit Price) and analyze its impact on inventory valuation and COGS.

  • Monitor cost drivers and provide recommendations for cost efficiency initiatives to the operations team.

Coordinate closely with the Production, Production Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance teams.

Prepare concise costing reports and insights for management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in cost accounting from manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of product costing, variance analysis, and inventory control.

  • Proficient in ERP systems and advanced in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills; comfortable working with plant operations.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes; willing to visit production sites.
