Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Semarang is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing for over 1000 employees. The role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll, strong knowledge of labor laws, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Fluency in English is essential, with preference for Chinese speakers. This position aims to ensure accurate payroll, compliance with regulations, and comprehensive reporting to the Finance Division.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in payroll specialist position.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct payroll processing and prepare monthly payroll cost report.
  • Liaise with divisions for validation of compensation transactions.
  • Ensure accuracy of BPJS TK, BPJS Kesehatan and PPh 21 processing.

Job description
Qualifications:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience in the same position for 3 years - 5 years, scope is payroll specialist and Tax IIT 21.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compensation and benefits for manufacturing industries.
  • Proficient in computer operation, particularly in Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Pivot and depth analysis.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate payroll processing and data entry for more than 1000 employees.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various priorities and meet deadlines.
  • English fluent is a must, Chinese speaker will be a good advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct recording, analysis and payment process for all employee and prepare monthly payroll cost report.
  • Liaise with related divisions to conduct validation and reconciliation of every compensation transaction.
  • Prepare Payroll Report details for further process to Finance Division.
  • Calculate, report, and ensure all of BPJS TK, BPJS Kesehatan and PPh 21 of all employees are processed accurately.
  • Maintain and prepare the tax calculation on benefit in kind which have been paid to employee.
  • Reconcile headcount, salaries and other income data (such overtime and allowances) between employee database or hard copies and report of any payroll cases.
