Direct Superior: Project Director
The Project Manager is fully accountable for the planning, control, and execution of large-scale mining infrastructure projects in West Kutai, East Kalimantan (including haul roads, ports, conveyor systems, utilities, and supporting facilities). This role ensures delivery within the agreed time, cost, quality, HSE standards, and regulatory compliance, while providing overall leadership across multidisciplinary teams and managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic Project Leadership
Define the strategic direction, objectives, and priorities for mining infrastructure projects.
Align and integrate cross‑functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, finance, HSE) under a unified project vision.
Planning & Budgeting
Approve project scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow.
Ensure baseline plans are established and maintained through effective project control systems.
Procurement & Contract Governance
Oversee procurement strategy and major contract execution.
Supervise tendering, contract evaluation, variation orders, and contractor claims resolution.
Project Execution Oversight
Monitor and control construction execution to ensure compliance with design, specifications, quality, and budget commitments.
Evaluate divergences and implement corrective actions or strategic adjustments.
Identify major risks (technical, financial, regulatory, social) and ensure effective mitigation strategies are implemented.
Act as the primary company representative with regulators, government agencies, investors, consultants, and key contractors.
Reporting & Governance
Provide timely and accurate project progress reports to the Project Director, Board, and external stakeholders.
Ensure accountability, transparency, and compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
Lead and develop direct reports (Infrastructure, Project Control, Procurement & Contract, Construction).
Build team capability, foster collaboration, and develop talent pipelines within the project organization.
