Chief Accountant (EXPATRIATE ARE WELCOME TO APPLY)

Property Development Company is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant (Expatriate are welcome to apply) to join our team in Ubud, Bali. As Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities for our organisation. This is a full‑time position with opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic and expanding company.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and oversee the entire accounting function, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and tax compliance
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and reporting systems
• Collaborate with the management team to provide strategic financial insights and support decision‑making
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with all relevant financial regulations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost‑saving measures

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting qualification
• At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in a similar industry
• Experience using 1C: Russian accounting and business automation software is a must
• Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and strategic planning skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
• Proficient in Russian Language and English is required, Indonesian is a plus
