As the brand continues to grow its national presence, the company is seeking a strong Business Development Manager to support its next phase of retail development and operational excellence.

Job Description
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential mall locations for new stores based on market research, foot traffic, demographics, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead end-to-end store expansion processes, including site surveys, feasibility studies, rental proposals, and business case development.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with mall landlords and property developers to secure optimal leasing conditions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, construction, merchandising, marketing) to ensure timely and successful store openings.
  • Monitor and track project timelines, budgets, and quality of new store developments.
  • Build strong relationships with mall management teams and external partners to secure future expansion opportunities.
  • Oversee operational performance of existing stores, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Monitor store KPIs (sales, conversion, productivity, shrinkage), identify gaps, and implement operational improvements.
  • Work closely with store managers to ensure consistent customer experience, proper inventory control, and effective staff management.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store operations and new store openings.
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operational performance and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Partner with Merchandising and Supply Chain to ensure stock availability and assortment planning aligns with store performance.
  • Work with Marketing to support promotional events and enhance brand visibility in new and existing stores.
  • Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, cost optimization, and ROI analysis for new store investments.
  • Prepare and present expansion plans, performance reports, and operational analysis to senior management.
  • Track market trends, mall developments, and competitor expansion activities to support long-term growth strategy.
  • Manage budgets related to new store openings, renovations, and ongoing operational needs.
The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Real Estate, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in retail expansion, leasing, or store operations—preferably in fashion/apparel.
  • Strong knowledge of mall leasing structures, retail property markets, and store development processes.
  • Proven ability to negotiate leases and build relationships with landlords and mall operators.
  • Solid understanding of retail operational KPIs, merchandising flow, and customer service standards.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel for store visits and site evaluations.
