Genius Group is looking for a Bali-based Business Development Manager who is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company and its products/services. Their primary goal is to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and ultimately increase sales through various digital channels.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is crucial in expanding our market reach, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the education technology (EdTech) landscape, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of successful business development.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within target markets, aligning with Genius Group's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, corporate clients, and government agencies.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, effectively articulating the value proposition of Genius Group's offerings.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
  • Represent Genius Group at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements in the EdTech sector.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the EdTech or education sector.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM software.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
