Job summary

A plantation management company in Jambi is seeking a candidate for pest control roles focused on identifying and managing bee hazards. Duties include safely evacuating nests, coordinating with bee farmers, and conducting employee training on bee safety. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, relevant training or certification, and at least one year of experience. This position is a temporary contract for 6 months, and proficiency in Microsoft applications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education.
• Training or certification in pest control or beekeeping required.
• At least 1 year of experience in pest control or beekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Identify biological hazards like bees and wasps in the plantation.
• Evacuate bee nests safely. Coordinate with surrounding bee farmers.
• Conduct weekly reporting on bee activity.

Job Description:

• Identify the biological hazard such as bee, wasp, hornets in the plantation
• Identify bee type, bee nest and determine the risk for employee
• Evacuate bee nest safely
• Coordinate with surrounding bee farmer for evacuation
• Control bee activity in order not to conflict with the employee (tapper, up-keep, etc)
• Conduct training for employees, to anticipate bee’s attack
• Socialize and create signboard regarding bee colony / bee nest
• Report on a weekly basis

Requirement:

• Min High school
• Having training or certification in pest control or as a beekeeper
• Having experience minimum 1 year in pest control or as a beekeeper
• Having experience in plantation is preferable
• Familiar to use Microsoft application (word, PPT, excel)
• Energetic, communicative, agile and able to work in a team.
• Placement: Site Tebo, Jambi
• Working type: temporary contract for 6 months
