Job description

The Application Engineer will play a critical role in providing technical and commercial support for the sales team, particularly within the Oil & Gas industries. This position requires a strong understanding of valve and instrument products, as well as a deep knowledge of industry standards. This position involves technical and commercial quotation preparation, supplier evaluation, stock monitoring, and documentation in SAP and Sales Force.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Technical & Commercial support for Sales including: Prepare quotation, Conduct technical clarification, Product and Presentation.
• Prepare Quotation for Oil & Gas Customers starting from FEED, Budgetary, Bidding & Firm quote.
• Identify inquiries, understand competitor products to offer a competitive product based on customer needs.
• Negotiation and enter orders to Principle.
• Monitor outstanding quotations and analyze to gain more competitiveness.
• Work closely with Sales team and visit customers if needed.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Physic, Mechanical or Industry Engineering.
• Experience in product selection, technical sales, or application engineering.
• Good knowledge of valve products and components, including Valve International Standard (ANSI, ASME, ISO, DIN, API, etc.).
• High skill in software applications: Sizing, CRM, SAP.
• Quick learning, good negotiation, and presentation skill.
• Familiar with document project requirements.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written.
• High skill in communication and written correspondence.
• Good level of computer literacy (Ms. Office).
