Job summary
A leading staffing agency in the United Kingdom is currently seeking experienced Safety Critical Personnel for various roles including COSS, SWL, and MC. Ideal candidates will possess a valid Sentinel card and have experience in safety-critical environments. Responsibilities include maintaining high safety standards while working flexible shifts across multiple locations in Kent. Qualifications
- Valid Sentinel card with relevant Safety Critical competencies.
- Experience in a safety critical environment (min. 6–12 months preferred).
- Good knowledge of Network Rail standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high operational and safety standards in line with Network Rail protocols.
- Work across multiple sites in Kent on midweek and weekend shifts.

Teamforce Labour is currently recruiting Safety Critical Personnel across all roles for upcoming and ongoing work throughout Kent. We are looking for reliable, experienced individuals with valid Sentinel competencies for both midweek and weekend shifts. This opportunity is ideal for those with a strong safety record, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work across multiple sites. Candidates must be punctual, professional, and capable of maintaining high operational and safety standards in line with Network Rail protocols.
- COSS (Controller of Site Safety)
- SWL (Safe Work Leader)
- MC (Machine Controller)
- CC (Crane Controller)
- Lookout / Site Warden
- IWA (Individual Working Alone)
- ES (Engineering Supervisor)
- Strapping Teams
- Valid Sentinel card with relevant Safety Critical competencies
- Recent Drug & Alcohol test certificate (within 3 months) or willingness to complete one
- Experience in a safety critical environment (min. 6–12 months preferred)
- Good knowledge of Network Rail standards and procedures
- Full PPE and ability to travel to sites across Kent
- Strong communication and situational awareness
- Additional competencies such as PICOP, LXA, Points Operator
- Manual Handling / First Aid
- Own transport and full UK driving licence
- Regular weekend and midweek shifts
- Day and night work available
- Locations across Kent including: Ashford, Maidstone, Dartford, Tonbridge, Canterbury, and Gillingham
