Job Title: Diagnostics RVN

Location: Wakefield

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week, 1 in 6 late shift weeks and 1 in 9 weekend shifts with days off in lieu of weekend days worked

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RVN to join our exceptional team of surgical nurses. Our team are hardworking, supportive and always willing to go that extra mile. With state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, you will be able to provide the very best of care to our patients.

This opportunity would suit an RVN who has particular interest in medical disorders and is keen to advance their skills in all aspects of patient diagnostic investigations and imaging.

Previous referral experience is not essential, as strong support and full training will be provided.

Key duties
  • Assisting the Specialists with any procedures/consultations/inpatient checks
  • Assisting within CT, MRI, Endoscopy & Ultrasonography
  • Obtaining samples for laboratory testing and performing in-house diagnostic tests
  • Monitoring of patients under sedation and anaesthesia
  • Working closely with the diagnostic team to co-ordinate the flow of the day
  • Taking and processing radiographs
