A leading Waste Management company in the UK is seeking a Shift Team Leader to manage operations at an Energy from Waste plant. The role involves overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring safety, and providing technical support. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and significant operational experience in power stations. The role offers competitive compensation, including a salary up to £74,635 per year plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years' experience in an operational environment.
  • Senior Authorised Persons Status or experience with High Voltage equipment is advantageous.
  • Experience in Energy from Waste, Coal, or similar power stations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the shift team.
  • Deputise as Operations Manager when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE rules and regulations.
