Job description

LOCATION: Amazon LCY8

SHIFT PATTERN: Day: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Flexible days- 3 days per week

PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour day

ABM UK is seeking reliable and proactive Cleaning Operatives to join the soft services team at a brand-new, high-profile multi-use complex in West Kensington, London. This landmark development will include corporate offices, event venues, leisure facilities, and restaurants, and is currently in the pre-opening phase.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will play an important role in maintaining high cleaning standards across all areas of the site. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility, including weekend work and shift-based availability, to meet the demands of a dynamic, high-footfall environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standards across designated areas.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as scrubber‑dryers and vacuum cleaners safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health & safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Report any defects, issues, or hazards promptly to the Team Leader.
  • Assist with waste management and recycling processes.
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and use resources efficiently.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of verbal and written English.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.
  • Awareness of health & safety and COSHH regulations.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role.
  • Experience operating cleaning machinery e.g., scrubber‑dryers, waste compactors (advantage but not essential)
  • Full UK driving license (advantage but not essential)
