About The Company
We are looking to appoint an experienced Humanities teacher to teach as part of our online education platform.

Chiron OEP is an innovative online education provider aiming to deliver high-quality programmes through a virtual environment. The school supports students who struggle to access mainstream schooling due to complex needs. All students follow a differentiated National Curriculum, with the goal of building their confidence towards either re-integration or success in appropriate Level 2 qualifications.

Launched in September 2023, the school is expanding its provision to reach more students in need. This role offers growth opportunities as we respond to increasing demand from local authorities nationwide. Job responsibilities include:

1. Delivering an inspiring, project-based curriculum tailored to disengaged young people.
2. Managing lesson resources on the online platform.
3. Monitoring attendance and engaging with professionals or guardians as needed.
4. Using no-grade feedback methods to support growth mindsets and monitor progress.
5. Providing regular, high-quality feedback to students.
6. Collaborating with a network of professionals to support student progress.

Person Specification:

• Commitment to the school's values and ethos.
• Experience of teaching with a focus on developing outstanding practice.
• Undergraduate degree in a related subject.
• Interest in virtual teaching environments and willingness to develop skills in this area.
• Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills.
• Interest in working with children with complex needs.
• Understanding of Music Production Qualifications landscape.
• Ability to build positive relationships with challenging backgrounds.
• Professional attitude, openness to learning, and adaptability.
• Strong safeguarding awareness.
• Comfort with Apple iPad and Teams platforms.
