A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Band 3 Administrator to join the Virtual Ward team at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. This part-time position involves managing administrative tasks to support patient care, including diary management, handling enquiries, and overseeing remote monitoring devices. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure. This role offers a salary between £24,937 to £26,598 annually, pro-rata, and flexible working arrangements.
Virtual wards are a safe and efficient alternative to NHS bedded care and support patients who would otherwise be in hospital to receive the acute care and treatment they need in their own home. This includes either preventing avoidable admissions into hospital or supporting early discharge out of hospital.

Applications are invited for the post of Band 3 Administrator in our integrated Virtual Ward team. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Acute Hospital at Home team providing a comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative service to support the needs of this busy service. This role is for the Eastern branch of our service and is based in the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The post holder will be able to work under pressure, use the relevant IT systems and be able to work to deadlines to meet targets.
They will be expected to work professionally to a very high standard. Attention to detail and use of initiative is essential. The ideal candidates must have a flexible can‑do attitude, the ability to use their initiative with excellent communication/interpersonal and IT skills.
The successful candidate will have strong administration and organisational skills, exemplary attention to detail, a passion for excellence and an ability to work well within a team.
Working Pattern: 18.5 hours per week. Alternating Monday and Tuesday one week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday the next week.
