PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE

The mission of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is to maximize customer success by ensuring smooth end-to-end operations for SAP implementations and reducing customers' total cost of operation. ECS manages delivery & operations for all private cloud components of SAP Cloud ERP Private.

As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be an SAP Enterprise Architect supporting our growth and delivering high-quality results for customers. You will be part of a critical team in ECS, contributing to SAP's global strategy of helping customers adopt SAP S/4HANA on their journey to the Intelligent Enterprise.

SAP ECS supports customers in their cloud transformation and RISE with SAP journey to adopt SAP Business Suite. We operate SAP Cloud ERP Private and SAP Cloud Application Services, turning SAP products into a solution-as-a-service on the customer’s preferred infrastructure, including Hyperscalers, as one SAP.

This role is part of the ECS Cloud Architecture & Advisory team in EMEA. As a SAP Cloud Architect & Advisor, you will serve as the primary technical contact for customers, working closely with sales and technical teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will be responsible for the technical foundation of SAP private cloud engagements, including Hyperscalers, infrastructure, network, and virtual private cloud deployment. You will present offerings, run workshops, and serve as the main customer contact for technical topics.

You will collaborate internally with sales and technical experts to address customer questions and hand over infrastructure designs to build teams for deployment.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of customer-facing experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of cloud deployments and at least one Hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of data center capabilities like high availability and disaster recovery
• Understanding of platform stack components (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks)
• Knowledge of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies)
• Experience with SAP solutions implementation and operation
• SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills are a plus
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge
• Self-sufficient and team-oriented
• Technical affinity and willingness to learn
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

Cloud Architecture & Advisory is vital to ECS, supporting SAP Cloud ERP Private portfolios and landscapes. The team validates technical feasibility during presales to ensure customer requirements are met.
