Job summary
A leading consultancy in London is seeking a qualified GI actuary with management experience for a leadership role in the Actuarial & Risk team. This position involves capital modelling, model validation, and business development within a dynamic consultancy environment, offering a chance to tackle complex problems and contribute to a variety of projects.
Qualifications
- Qualified GI actuary with management experience.
- Experience in Part VII transfers and Lloyd’s Statements.
- Familiarity with Solvency II or Solvency UK requirements.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects including Transactions and Finance Transformation.
- Lead capital modelling and model validation workstreams.
- Engage with the market to develop new business networks.

Joining a major consultancy in a broad leadership role, you will play a key role in the Actuarial & Risk team, with a primary focus on capital modelling, model validation and Solvency UK services.
- Contribute to a wide variety of projects, including Transactions and Independent Expert assignments, Reserving and Finance Transformation.
- Develop and lead capital modelling and model validation workstreams in line with Solvency UK requirements.
- Actively engage with the market to develop new business, generate ideas, grow your network and bring new propositions to market.
- GI actuary with management experience.
- Experience across Part VII transfers, Lloyd’s Statements of Actuarial Opinion and the Solvency II (or Solvency UK) Standard Formula.
