Rathgael Garden Lodge Veterinary Clinics-a group of RCVS-accredited, veterinary nurse training practices located across Bangor, Holywood, and Stormont-is looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our expanding team.

The Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Rathgael Garden Lodge, you’ll be a vital part of delivering compassionate, expert care to a diverse range of patients. Your responsibilities will include providing direct nursing care, assisting in surgeries, monitoring anaesthesia, performing diagnostic imaging, and managing inpatient care. You’ll also run nurse-led clinics covering areas such as weight management, dental care, and post-operative support, as well as conducting blood sampling, medication administration, and laboratory assistance.

Beyond clinical duties, you’ll play a key role in educating clients and mentoring student nurses, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within our team.

What Will You Bring to Our Team?

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with current RCVS registration and proven experience in general practice nursing, including surgical assistance, anaesthesia monitoring, diagnostic imaging, and inpatient care. Excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. Working Hours

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. Shifts will be between 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM, including 1 in 5 Saturday mornings. There are no out-of-hours responsibilities.
