A UK-based engineering firm is seeking an Environmental Lead for their QHSE team. This role involves both office and remote work, including travel to sites. Responsibilities include developing environmental strategies, ensuring compliance with legislation, and managing data related to sustainability. The ideal candidate will have environmental experience, with a professional membership being a plus. We are now looking for an Environmental Lead to join our QHSE team! This role will be both office and home working along with travelling to various sites, so a full UK driving licence is essential. The main office you will be working out of will be Ipswich, Head Office.
Are you the person we are looking for?
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate environmental experience, ideally within the construction, utilities, infrastructure, civil engineering, or related sector.
A professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM) as well as knowledge and experience of the following are preferable but not essential:
