Job summary

A leading engineering provider is seeking an on-site supervisor in Royston, UK. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, managing teams, and coordinating material deliveries. Candidates must hold a valid Safety Passport and have skills in problem-solving and team management. This is a temporary position until the end of April, working 38 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. A background in reading piping isometrics is preferred, along with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operations on-site to ensure work progresses according to plan.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Managing teams of workers.
• Scheduling and coordinating deliveries of materials from stores.
• Communicating progress to management and clients.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting issues that arise during the project.
• Must have valid Safety Passport.
• Be able to read and interpret piping isometrics.
• A knowledge of excel and word would be advantageous.
• Rolling 11 day fortnight, 38hrs per week plus overtime.
• Knowledge of plastic piping not necessary but advantageous.

Temporary position until the end of April.
