In this pivotal role, you will work closely with children, their families, carers, and professionals across the wider children’s workforce to deliver tailored support and guidance.

Your expertise will empower children to overcome challenges, achieve their potential, and enhance their quality of life.

If you’re passionate about delivering high‑quality, child‑centred care and working collaboratively within a supportive and dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Base: You will be based at one of our Surrey‑wide office hubs, with the flexibility of hybrid working to support your professional and personal needs.

At HCRG Care Group, we are proud to be a flexible‑first employer. Our agile working approach allows our teams to thrive in a supportive and adaptable environment while delivering high‑quality care.

Main duties of the job
  • Carrying out high‑quality ADOS assessments, as part of a Multi‑Disciplinary Team (MDT) for children and young people
  • Provide support, advice, and accessible therapy programmes to children, families, and carers, adapting communication for understanding.
  • Share and receive complex and sensitive information regarding children’s difficulties, progress, and expectations
  • Attend, arrange, and contribute specialist advice in multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Plan, organise, and manage therapy services, including supervision, appraisals, and training of staff, students, and parents/carers.
  • Deliver and adapt therapy interventions, both individual and group, across home, clinic, and education settings, ensuring evidence‑based practice.
  • Conduct and interpret complex assessments, contribute to diagnoses, identify therapy goals, and make referrals where needed.
  • Maintain accurate written and electronic records, reports, and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
  • Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity in supporting families adjusting to their child’s condition.
  • Apply clinical reasoning to assess needs, develop and adapt therapy/management plans, evaluate outcomes, and ensure best practice.
  • Participate in service development, audits, and research projects to enhance clinical practice.
  • Maintain professional development, reflect on practice, and comply with HCPC and professional body requirements.
