Job Summary

We are seeking Nursing/Paramedic Practitioners with a Level 7 qualification in Minor Illness and Injuries to join our 7‑day Urgent Care Team at Practice Plus Group. You will deliver an excellent, caring service to patients presenting with minor injury or illness in an urgent treatment centre. You will work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and you will receive a bank contract that supports flexible working to fit around your commitments.

Main Duties
  • Assess and manage patients with minor illness and minor injury, using an undifferentiated diagnosis approach.
  • Formulate clinical management plans and discharge or transfer patients for definitive care.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes advanced clinicians, emergency practitioners and GPs.
  • Support the development and delivery of high‑quality patient safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience as an Emergency Nurse/Paramedic Practitioner or relevant specialist assessment practitioner skills.
  • Qualified to Level 7 or above in minor injuries and/or illness.
  • A passion for delivering high quality patient care.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.
  • A commitment to continual personal and professional development.
